I finally got to sleep in today for the first time in a while, i dont remember the last time it was light out when i got out of bed. I'm on call for work and have nothing to do but play on my computer....

Annie and I went to Disney World last weekend and it kicked ass! It was my first time and I totally felt like a kid again. They have some fun roller coasters there :) This was also my first time being south of Illinois. I've been coast to coast but never south so it was fun. Humid though. I'd definitely go back, given the chance.

So I'll finally have weekends at home now after a long summer of activities. All were fun, just didnt have many weekends to just relax and be home. :) :)

Just thought i'd randomly throw it up here. so what the hell is it with the damn illinois police taking your license away when you get a speeding ticket?? this isnt my first ticket but holy hell its such an inconvenience, i cant do any banking, its hard to get into bars, and i cant fly. so i get the pleasure of going to the friendly local DMV in the next couple of days to get an ID card (flying to florida soon) since the damn cook county clerks office thinks its fun to not cash my check i sent three weeks ago and keep my license. "lets watch him squirm!" bastardos. venting is over.

thank god i didnt run the marathon last weekend (work got in the way of training, damn roadside) cause im sure i would have sucked ass. my friend who's a way better runner than i only made it to mile 11....yeah....again, fall where are you?

Earlier this September, four friends and I went to Silver Lake Michigan. There are huge sand dunes right along Lake Michigan and about 1000 acres of it is designated for off road vehicles. It's heaven to anyone into that sort of thing (me). I took this picture of a 16 year old kid who was just amazing on that bike.

Glad fall is here. It has to be my favorite season. I love the cool weather (not COLD, i said cool).

ok what the hell. i cant stand any more crappy weather. woke up today and i could hear the wind howling. ok. fine. wind. ... and i knew it would probably be cold. ok. but when i walked out of my building there was about an inch or two of SNOW on the ground and it was still coming down and blowing everywhere!!! so i thought i would post this picture i took last summer in grant park. buckingham fountain, i miss you

Going to dinner tonight to say goodbye to a good friend. Nick is moving to california where its summer all year. Guess he got sick of this crazy shitty Chicago weather.

speaking of, 80 in march? 30 in april?? this is just crazy....

annie and i went to milwaukee this weekend for two cubs games. by the time we got there friday night (1st inning) the cubs were beating the brewers 6-0 :) and thats they way the whole game went pretty much. then we stayed at my sisters place friday night in wisconsin and went to another game on saturday. only this day, annie made the mistake off wagering a dinner at fogo de chao on the game. she bet on the brewers and i, of course, bet on my cubbies. long story short cubs won 3-6 wooohooo!!!!
so tomorrow night we're having a going-away dinner for my friend nick who's moving to california, and we're going to fogo. i love you cubs. :)
